Overview
Sharing your trips and shopping for travel with your friends should be fun. Coordinating and communicating everything should be simple, not a burden. That’s why we’ve created TravelTogether. Using TravelTogether you can search, organize, and coordinate travel like you’ve never done before, finding the best travel offers for you and your friends. It’s the easiest way to agree, book, and go! And it just takes a few minutes to start a trip. Plus, it’s free and we’re making it easier every day.

What should I do first?
Most sites will tell you to fill out your profile first but you can always do that later. First, click on “Find Friends and Trips?” and take a look at some of the people and trips being organized. Who is going where with who? Are their any trips to places you want to go to? Next, think about where you might want to go and click on “Organize a New Trip.” Enter some possible places and dates, and then invite your friends. |
How do I sign-up?
If you’ve been invited to a trip, just click on the invitation and complete your registration by filling in your password and home city.
If you don't yet have an account with us, just visit the TravelTogether homepage and click on "I am a new user" in the login box. |
How do I create a trip?
You can create a trip by clicking on the “Organize a New Trip”
tab in the top menu bar. You must give the trip a name, description,
and date. Next, you can decide where you want to go and who
you might bring along. A trip will not be created until you
hit either the “Save Now” or “Finish and Send Invitations”
buttons. |
How do I find my friends?
You can search for your friends who may be in the system by clicking “Find Friends and Trips” in the top menu navigation, then by clicking the “Browse Travelers” tab. Next, you can find people by name, email or even their home city. Once they are found, you can add them to your list of friends by clicking the “Add to Friends” button next to their photo. |
Where is my list of trips?
Your list of trips will appear below the main menu once you have created them or accepted trips you have been invited to. |
When I log in again, why do I now find a different price for my trip?
Don’t worry. Almost every price you’ll find is going to be different. We are showing you the lowest fare published this week by the major airlines for your trips. These prices should be used as guidelines from Orbitz, Expedia, or whomever you prefer to book with. |
Trips, Guides & Blogs? What's the difference?
TRIPS: Trips are PLANS to go away in the future. They help answer the
good old questions: "Where should we go? When can we go? Where to
stay, what to we do?" They are a central place to get your plans
together. You can discuss ideas, vote on choices, find deals, and put
together activities - with anyone you want to invite along.
(see examples)
GUIDES: Guides are your own online travel guide "books". You make a
guide about cities you know well. They are all about you making a set
of recommendations for a unique experience. Travelers will use your
guides to construct their trip plans, by copying them, or items from
the notes you create. Whether you create a 3 Day Shopping Guide to
Chicago, IL or a Family Guide to Washington, DC, Guides are written by
you, but read and used by everyone!
(see examples)
BLOGS: Travel Blogs are about "What happened" on a trip you've taken.
Share photo's, tell your friends what you did, talk about the
experience. You can create shared blogs, where everyone you went on a
trip with can participate in documenting the experience.
(see examples)
... AND REMEMBER: everything - every review, hotel, plan, activity
that you write about can be copied easily. Your blog entries can
become part of your Guide, and can then become part of everyones
plans. That's how it works.
